US newspaper: Israel kills more civilians in Gaza in 48 days than it did during the 20-year Afghan war.

The New York Times, an American newspaper, claims that Israel killed civilians in Gaza during the most recent conflict at the fastest possible pace.

The New York Times reported that the number of Palestinians killed by the Israeli army in 48 days surpasses the number of Americans killed in the United States' 20-year war in Afghanistan.

According to the report, 48 days of civilian casualties in Gaza are more than the two years of the Ukraine war, and Israel killed twice as many civilians in seven weeks of airstrikes as it did in the first year of the Iraq war.

Ninety percent of Israel's bombs dropped on Gaza in the first two weeks of the conflict weighed between one thousand and two thousand pounds, according to the American newspaper.

It should be recalled that since October 7, the Israeli bombardment of Gaza has resulted in over 14,850 Palestinian martyrdoms and over 36,000 injuries.

As per the agreement, both Israel and Hamas are releasing their prisoners on the third day of a four-day temporary ceasefire in Gaza.
